Energinet- Save years of work!

Implement a Business Intelligence solution on SAP ERP in few months. Can it be done? At Energinet.dk the NewFrontiers QuickStart Has saved at least 2 man-year of work.

That's what the Datawarehouse Architect at Energinet said after implementing QuickStart for SAP R/3:

We now have a working integrated BI solution that allows us to do reporting on SAP data, on Data from other sources and to do reports consolidating data from SAP and other sources Time used to implement: NewFrontiers started in late June 2007 and we had most up and running late August 2007 Should we have done everything ourselves from ground up using the Oracle SAP connector I would estimate that at least two man-years would have been needed to implement a smaller solution

San Francisco, 13 November 2007,  Energinet.dk a leading Energy Company who maintain the security of supply and ensure the smooth operation of the market for both Electricity and Gas in Northern Europe presented their reporting solution on SAP data based on Oracle BI and QuickStart during the 2007 Oracle Open World.

The company went live with their SAP ERP system in January 2007. Energinet started their BI project late June and was up and running in Augustus! Energinet estimates that their current solution based on QuickStart has saved them at least 2 man years of work.
