Solution Centers
To clarify Macaw’s extensive range of services, our expertise is condensed into Solution Centers and Service Centers. The principle behind these Centers is that every type of solution has its own optimal approach regarding expertise, sales, organization, processes and people. To continually maintain Macaw’s position as leader in the field of Microsoft technology, our Knowledge Development department closely follows the newest Microsoft developments and adopts them as soon as possible. This task is fulfilled by participating in all kinds of programs that Microsoft offers in this area, as well as working with multitudes of Beta products, both internally and externally.

Approach
Macaw is a project organization. For each assignment, we compile a team that contains the range of expertise required to carry out the most important technical tasks and development. This approach includes a variety of important stages in the development of a portal: analysis, design, development, roll-out, documentation, education/training, promotion, aftercare and management. The approach concentrates as much as possible on the phases and deliverables that are most concrete and useful to both the project and the various stakeholders.

Macaw operates using the Rational Unified Process (RUP) method as a basis for all of its projects. This method is specifically suited to software development. Macaw has adopted this method and added a number of disciplines, such as design, in order to enable complex web and portal development.

Furthermore, all solutions are constructed using the Macaw Solutions Factory. Employees of all disciplines are equipped with the necessary expertise and have years of project experience in conjunction with the other disciplines.
