On the back of growing demand for their enterprise management reporting solution, QuickStart for SAP R/3, and a number of successful customer engagements within their home market (Benelux), the company is making a major investment to expand its operations globally.
Nieuwegein, The Netherlands, April 2nd 2007 – NewFrontiers, a specialist provider of BI solutions for SAP and Siebel, today announced a major investment to expand its operations internationally in order to support the growing demand for its enterprise management reporting solution, QuickStart. The investment will initially be used for setting up operations in the UK to support UK, Eire, Nordics, South Africa and the Middle East and in Germany to support Central and Eastern Europe including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary. Following the opening of these operations it is envisaged that NewFrontiers will further expand into the other major European markets and North America before the end of this year.
QuickStart for SAP was first released in June 2006 and is based on standard Oracle technology, following a joint development project between both companies to enhance connectivity to SAP R/3. It combines the use of Database 10g, Fusion Middleware (OWB) and Oracle BI with the QuickStart pre-packaged business content supporting all of the major SAP Business modules. The content has been developed during eight years experience of implementing BI solutions for SAP customers. The solution is further enhanced with the support of IBM P Series hardware, enabling it to be sold as a plug and play appliance. QuickStart provides significant savings in both time and cost when compared to other alternative solutions for enterprise management reporting from SAP, from initial deployment through to follow on phases of the project, as the solution is based on open standards and does not need skilled SAP developers.
