Business arguments

There are many arguments for selecting the QuickStart. The primary need of course is to enable every organisation to make better informed and timely decisions.

QuickStart can play a valuable role wherever SAP R/3 is deployed within an organisation. Many companies have found that whilst SAP R/3 is an excellent transaction processing system for running a business it hasn’t provided them with a solution for adequately addressing their information reporting needs.

The arguments most commonly used to justify the selection of QuickStart are:

• The current reporting solution is not meeting our company's needs.
• We have SAP/BW but still have not got round to implementing it or implementation is taking too long.
• We need to bring data together from systems other than SAP, to provide integrated Management Information.
• Our company already uses Oracle technology; we want to make better use of its capabilities.
• Our management information needs are continually evolving and by basing them on an open Oracle solution, our cost of ownership will be significantly reduced.
